Lea and Leon Johnson have been involved "Hands on" with Casa Hogar Sion Orphanage since 1999. This Orphanage is located in Tijuana, Mexico, apx. 15 min. drive from the Ottay Mesa Border, about 3 hours drive from Los Angeles.

Casa Hogar Sion currently houses 102 orphan and abandoned children ages six months old to 15 years, who are lovingly raised by George & Carmen Gonzales family with the help of six person full time staff who dedicated their lives to raising these children.

There are 3 small school buildings on premises covering kindergarten to 6th grade. Sixteen new abandoned babies recently arrived at Casa Hogar Sion all under one year old. There have been lots of wonderful changes and improvements at the Orphanage in the past few years such children's lives being changed as they have been delivered from drugs, abuse in the streets and emotional suffering.

There are many successful stories, for example, four day old baby girl, who was found at the dump site with animal claw marks on her body. She was brought in to the orphanage by a good samaritan and her life was rescued. The Johnson's visit Casa Hogar Sion on montly basis bringing much needed help school and food supplies, etc. The needs of these children, their schooling, health care, supplies and maintenance of the orphanage are constantly present.
